In his work After All These Years,. Chao-Ming Teng, artist and head of Giloo documentary media, personified the Taiwanese ballad Rainy Night Flowers. Through the revealing of the song's personality and past experience, the backdrop of the changing of times and the song's life journey were conveyed in the first person narrative.

Chao-Ming'sartistic approach often connects with history, narration, interaction systems and structures, randomness and unpredictability, exemplifying the challenges of constructing subjectivity. In this seminar, he shared his one-decade-spanning creative journey, demonstrating “reproducible methods” that are often present across his works. These methods are tools that live out his principles, helping him deconstruct and reconstruct existing structures to spark unique perspectives and means that bring forth new understanding and perception to viewers.
