Contemporary Phenomenon of Messages
How Are Images Received and Information Created
Paper Objects as an Example
With extensive experience in business collaboration, the design studio Houth has undertaken projects for clients both large and small. Their work is characterised by restraint, freshness, and understated elegance—designs that leave space for the target audience to engage with the inviting results. This allows viewers to step into a shared vision shaped collaboratively by Houth and their clients, and to continue exploring it over time. In the ongoing journey of blending brand strategy with visual language, Houth communicates a graceful yet abstract empathic experience through their design practice. At a time when achieving both physical and mental balance has become a global trend, Houth's core expertise lies in shaping images and crafting messages that foster a sense of emotional connection.
In this seminar, Houth presented paper objects they had created or worked on, along with photographs from PICNIC—a photographic portfolio developed in collaboration with pon ding bookstore and artist Meich Wu. Through these materials, they shared the thoughtful, layered process of message-building that precedes the realisation of each design concept.
