Liu Yu, Stand Still: Poster Series of Summer Internship, 2022.

This programme is only open to students living in Taiwan.

This programme aims to provide young designers with hands-on industry experience, targeting design students and young professionals under the age of 25. During the summer, participants will rotate between two organisations within their selected track, spending one month at each. The programme offers training and hands-on involvement in branding design or new media teams, exposing participants to diverse methodologies and working environments.

Participants are required to attend biweekly group study sessions to share insights with peers from other tracks and will conclude the programme by presenting their outcomes in a public lecture. All proceeds from the lecture will be allocated to the speakers.

New Media Track

Ultra Combos: Founded in 2010, Ultra Combos integrates aesthetics, creativity, concepts, visuals, technology, space, installations, and sound through digital tools. The team creates avant-garde works designed to captivate the senses and evoke profound emotional responses.

27 Design: One of Taiwan’s most influential motion design teams, 27 Design also develops online courses to promote motion design education. They have collaborated with international companies such as Google and Disney, and produced dynamic visuals for large-scale events hosted by the Taiwanese government.

Their expertise lies in design thinking, business analysis, and insightful creative execution—helping brands establish identities and achieve operational goals.
