Summer Internship 2021: Branding, Speculative Design, and Motion Graphics

This program is only open to students living in Taiwan
This programme aims to provide industry experience for the next generation of designers, targeting students and young professionals under the age of 25. During the summer, participants will rotate between two organisations within their chosen track, each for one month. The programme offers training and hands-on experience in branding or new media teams, exposing participants to diverse methodologies and working environments.
Participants are required to attend biweekly group study sessions to exchange insights with peers from other tracks. At the end of the programme, they will present their outcomes in a public lecture, with all proceeds from the event given to the speakers.
Route A. Speculative and Motion Design
Digital Medicine Lab & Amphibious Design: This track offers opportunities to engage in speculative design research at Digital Medicine Lab, including contributing to the production of the book Discourse Design. Participants will also work on new media design projects at Amphibious Design, gaining insight into project organisation. Applicants familiar with Indesign and After Effects are encouraged to apply.
Route B. Branding
Studio Pros & No Man Design: This track provides experience in branding research at Studio Pros and hands-on project execution at No Man Design. Applicants with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keynote are encouraged to apply.

•June 2, 2021: Online registration deadline
•June 7, 2021: Notification of preliminary qualification results via email
•June 7–10, 2021: Final interviews
•June 11, 2021: Notification of final and alternate candidates via email
•July 1–August 31, 2021: Internship programme
Final interviews will be conducted by the programme’s partner organisation heads. Internship certificates can be issued by the hosting organisations upon request. This programme is free of charge, and participants will not receive financial compensation for their work.
